The Danish Club of Japan gathers to celebrate the change from winter to spring. Children hit down a wood barrel with fruits and candy inside and the girl or boy who hits it the barrel down becomes cat-queen or cat-king. For adults, Fastelavn is similar to carnival and people wear special/fun customs.
